‘Bulldog’ Bob Smith has worked in small market radio & mobile entertainment since 1982, when he started by reported monthly ‘High School Highlights’ on WDOE-AM in Dunkirk, NY and spinning records at area high school dances…from there it was on to St. Bonaventure University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications while working part-time for WMNS/WBJZ in Olean, NY…upon graduation Bob moved to the Twin Tiers for stints at WCBA AM/FM and WELM/WLVY/WOKN, where the ‘Bulldog’ nickname stuck as the morning guy for the market’s #1 rated station.
Bob’s belief in an interactive, fast-paced show has led him to continue not only in radio, but also mobile entertainment where has played music & provided emcee work for thousands of events during his career…a recent highlight for Bob was attending the 2016 Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in Brooklyn to see his favorite band, Chicago, get inducted.’
